Can you recommend a solution to use for the chromatography experiment in Safe Food? I have tried Hawaiian Punch as well as a few other “colored, non-carbonated” drinks with little success.

Our Curriculum Writer recommends using sports drinks that have two types of dye in the ingredients. Dark purple sports drinks would work the best, with red and blue dyes. Stay away from sports drinks that are yellow in color as the yellow dye is hard to see on the chromatography strip.
