Steps for obtaining certificate:

Below is the old guide using the legacy menu. The menu options have been updated:

Updates -

  • Step 1- Select Rubrics > Legacy > Scores
  • Step 2- Select Participants > Edit Existing or Summary

If an ALSDE admin calls with questions on how to get the certificate, check the following steps to make sure they are going through the process correctly:

  1. Check admins' permissions to ensure that they have the Manage permission under Participants.
  2. Go to Participants> Edit Existing. Type the name of the student you would like to view and click Show Participant Edit in the upper right corner. In the next screen, click the Edit button. This will take you to another screen with the participant demographics listed. Scroll down this page until you see the Status and be sure if they are completed, that this is changed from In Training to AIDT Certificate. Below this be sure to enter their WorkKeys ID. Click submit.
  3. If the Instructor Certification of Team Standards is locked, you can go to Participants > Locks. From this screen follow a similar process as above and select the filters to find your students. Once you click the button in the top right of the screen, it will take you to another page with the Participants listed out as well as the status of the students assessments, being either locked or unlocked. If the assessments are locked, change the lock to open and click submit. You should then be able to complete their Instructor Certification.
  4. Lastly, be sure to go through Reports > RTW Participant Information to complete the Certificate Request. If you go through these steps you should be able to generate the Certificate for each of your students.
