TETRIX PRIME DC MOTOR 44298 DOES NOT WORK WITH RC RECEIVER

Question

Does the PRIME DC motor work with the R/C receiver?

Answer

The PRIME DC motors are not servo motors – meaning you cannot position them using a joystick. They are just two-wire DC motors that are not intended to be plugged directly into the R/C receiver. They are for use with the PULSE® controller and controlled using code via the Arduino Software (IDE) or TETRIX Ardublockly.

Additional Comments

An issue to look for: the R/C receiver will supply the power to run the DC motor, but the DC motor will just constantly spin. If this is happening for the customer, make sure they are not using a PRIME DC motor with the receiver.
