Question

Why can’t I get the connectors on the battery to stay together?

Answer

More than likely the locking tabs on the metal contact have been bent or broken. This might have happened with an accidental hard “yank” on the battery wire, or it is possibly a manufacturing defect. If the locking tabs are bent, you can sometimes bend them back into shape and insert the contact back into the nylon connector housing. It should click into place and feel secure. If it’s broken, nothing can be done to repair it, so we would suggest purchasing a new one.
